Wicked Kitty’s Wicked Wadio Show is a weekly 30 minute adventure into old Hollywood hosted by your feline sex pot host, Wicked Kitty! Every week Wicked Kitty will offer a 30 minute spotlight on what she calls a famouse “old Hollywood Pussy-CAT!” ranging from torch singers to big screen stars, all femme fatales who had a dynamic voice and a tie to the big (or little) screen. (Think Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, Diana Dors, Mae West, Marlene Dietrich, etc.) But Wicked Kitty threatens to expand your horizons by also featuring rarely known names, along with the big mama cats (people like Blossom Dearie and Keely Smith). But that’s not all! Wicked Kitty will also school you with facts and tidbits about the Hollywood glamor pusses and even offers occasional “Ask Wicked Kitty” advice from fan mail she receives! So grab a martini and strap yourself in for a wild ride, Wicked Kitty style!

The sensual pussCat Wicked Kitty highlights the career of sexy brit Vera Lynn. Lynn was born Vera Margaret Welch on 20 March 1917, in East Ham, London. Her father was a plumber and Vera Welch grew up with her parents’ Cockney accent. She began singing at the age of seven in a working men’s club, and later adopted her grandmother’s maiden name for her stage name. Lynn’s first radio broadcast was in 1935.In 1940 Lynn began her own radio show called Sincerely Yours, in which she sent British troops messages from home.
